It\u2019s been almost 2 years since we first listed our former Welcome Center for sale, a beautiful 3,900 s.f. craftsman-style building nestled amongst 100-year-old oak trees on 4 acres, overlooking a pond, and ideally located just inside the main entrance to Magnolia Green off of Hull Street Road.<\/p>\n<p>We are excited to announce we have signed a lease\/purchase agreement with Bobby Kruger, co-owner of Brambly Park in the Richmond area and Andrea Maradiaga, owner of Richmond Photo Booth and has been in the wedding industry for more than 15 years. The facility will initially be marketed as an event venue called\u00a0<strong><em>The Cardinal<\/em><\/strong>, catering to special events such as weddings, celebrations, etc., but will also host frequent community gatherings featuring live music and a variety of family activities. \u201cWe are excited to bring something special to the area,\u201d said Maradiaga. There are  <a href=\"https:\/\/magnoliagreen.com\/\">magnolia green<\/a>  to eventually add on-site food and beverages as well, but this will require improvements to the existing kitchen space.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHaving served us well over the years as a Welcome Center and a temporary golf clubhouse, we believe Bobby\u2019s vision for\u00a0<strong><em>The Cardinal<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0is a perfect fit for the facility, and the community and will become another reason for folks to call Magnolia Green home,\u201d said Tom Page, General Manager of Magnolia Green.<\/p>\n<p>The Cardinal team is already working on some planned upgrades and improvements to the building and site and are targeting early fall to open the facility. \u201cWe are thrilled to be a part of this amazing community and will soon announce our official grand opening date and publish our calendar of community events,\u201d said Kruger.<\/p>\n<p>Nestled on 2,000 acres in southwest Chesterfield County, Magnolia Green offers world-class amenities and a variety of home styles for all stages of life; single-family homes, custom homes, townhomes, age-targeted\/maintenance provided homes, and apartment homes.
