Two to three instances everyday I always check to see whether functions are overtaking me, and I’m getting, or am anxious. Possibly I’m in a tense conference, or attempting to a limited deadline. When I sense nervousness, I withdraw to a peaceful position, usually the bathroom, and mull over Philippians 4:6-7. These passages tell me not to be anxious but hope, be glad to Lord, provide him my considerations, and he will give me a profound peace.
I present my condition to God, ask him to help me take wherever I am, what I’ve, and give me peace to deal with it. The target is his peace, not just a solution to the issue. Remembering these passages several times daily, hoping and thinking them support me see alternatives. It is difficult to judge conditions when tensed and anxious.
This really is my great challenge. I take to to accomplish things in my own energy as opposed to bending on Jesus. I am aware external hearings impact my thinking, and so I should seek God’s help often to overcome that flaw.
